Debertz Calc (“the App”) is a score calculator and live party tracker for Debertz card games. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes and how it is used.

Information We Process

The App may process the following information that you enter or choose to use inside the App:

player names;
game scores, party results, history, and money calculations;
app settings and game rules;
screenshots selected by you for score recognition;
profile and friend information if you use iCloud/CloudKit party sharing features;
subscription and purchase status provided by Apple.

How Information Is Used

This information is used only to provide App functionality, including:

calculating scores and money results;
saving game and party history;
restoring unfinished parties;
recognizing scores from screenshots when you choose to upload them;
syncing or sharing party data through Apple iCloud/CloudKit features;
managing subscription access through Apple App Store purchases.

Screenshots and OCR

If you choose to upload screenshots for score recognition, the App processes those images to extract game scores. Screenshots are used only for this feature. The App does not use screenshots for advertising or tracking.

iCloud and CloudKit

If iCloud/CloudKit features are enabled, game data, player profiles, friend requests, and shared party data may be stored in your Apple iCloud account and transmitted through Apple CloudKit so the App can sync data between your devices or share selected party information with other players.

Apple’s handling of iCloud, CloudKit, App Store, and purchase data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.

Subscriptions and Purchases

The App may offer optional paid subscription features. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. The App receives purchase status information from Apple to unlock subscription features. The App does not receive or store your payment card details.

Analytics and Diagnostics

The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the App is used, improve features, and detect crashes or technical issues.

The App may collect technical usage and diagnostic data, including app launches, screen openings, interactions with main buttons and subscription screens, purchase-related app events, device type, operating system version, app version, country or region, crash reports, and error information.

This data is used only for analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, bug fixing, and improving the App. We do not sell this data and do not use it to track users across third-party apps or websites.

Data Sharing

The App does not sell your personal information.

The App does not use your data for third-party advertising or tracking.

Data may be shared only in the following cases:

with Apple services such as iCloud, CloudKit, and the App Store when required for app functionality;
with other players only when you choose to share party or game information;
if required by law.

Data Storage

Game history, settings, and related app data may be stored locally on your device. If iCloud/CloudKit sync or sharing is used, some data may also be stored in iCloud.

You can delete local app data by deleting the App from your device. iCloud data may also be managed through your Apple ID and iCloud settings.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended to collect personal information from children. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children for advertising or tracking.

Security

We use Apple platform features and system services to help protect app data. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
